Howard Moore is a former collegiate basketball player and coach. He played college basketball at the University of Wisconsin from 1990 to 1994, where he was a key part of the Badgers team that made a trip to the NCAA tournament in 1994.
After his playing career, Moore transitioned to coaching and has held various coaching positions at schools such as Bradley University, Worcester State University, Ball State University, and University of Illinois Chicago.
Most notably, Moore served as an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2005 to 2010, where he helped lead the Badgers to multiple NCAA tournament appearances.
Tragically, Moore and his family were involved in a car accident in 2019 that took the lives of his wife and daughter. Moore himself suffered serious injuries in the accident but has continued to persevere and stay involved in the basketball community.
